About This Program

This module offers an overview into role in which commercial Aviation Safety and Security has within organisations and cultures and the impact it has over these domains. You will gain an understanding of what is meant by safety and a systems approach to safety management as considered from a perspective of those working in the aviation industry. The aviation industry is composed of a series of overlapping operational areas that safety and security personnel must protect. Module 3, will increase your awareness into the various threats and criminal activities that target the aviation industry. It will provide insight into each operational area that must be protected accordingly to prevent any terrorist or criminal behaviour.
